Terms of service
The agreement between your bakery and MLJ, SASU for the use of TieredOrders. Short paragraphs, no buried clauses, and the same billing figures you see on the pricing section.

1. Acceptance of these terms
These terms form the contract between MLJ, SASU, a French simplified joint stock company with share capital of 500.00 euros registered under SIREN 934 769 837, and the business that opens an account on TieredOrders. By creating an account, by sending an order form to a customer, or by paying a subscription, you accept these terms on behalf of your bakery. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
2. What the service is
TieredOrders is a web application for taking custom cake orders. It lets a bakery record its pricing rules, publish an order form that applies those rules to a customer request, capture the date, the servings, the flavors and fillings, the finish, the allergen and dietary flags, the pickup or delivery arrangement and any notes, take a deposit or booking fee through a third party payment processor, and place the resulting order on a production calendar with capacity limits. The service also sends confirmations and balance reminders, and exports order and customer data on request.
The service does not bake, decorate, deliver or insure anything. It gives no legal, tax or food safety advice. Responsibility for allergen management, food handling, labeling and every other regulatory duty inside your kitchen remains entirely with your business.
3. Accounts and eligibility
An account may be opened by a company or a sole trader acting for professional purposes, whose representative is at least 18 years old. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give, for keeping login credentials secret, and for everything done under your account by your staff. Tell us promptly at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com if you believe an account has been used without permission. Staff logins on the Bakery and Multi Baker plans are personal and must not be passed between people.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use TieredOrders to send unsolicited marketing, to take payment for goods your business cannot supply, to store data unrelated to cake orders, to reach another account, to test or bypass platform security, to reverse engineer the software, or to resell access without a written agreement. An account doing any of those things may be suspended. Where the problem can be fixed, we will say what needs fixing before suspending anything.
5. Subscription, prices and billing
Three plans are offered. The Home Baker plan is 19 US dollars per month and covers 25 custom orders per month for a single baker. The Bakery plan is 49 US dollars per month and covers unlimited orders, up to five staff logins, capacity caps, tastings and consultations, delivery pricing and accounting sync. The Multi Baker plan is 99 US dollars per month and adds up to six locations, a separate price book for each shop, order transfers between kitchens, group reporting and export access.
All prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax or value added tax that may apply to your business. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance, on the calendar day the account was opened, to the payment method on file. A failed payment is retried, and if it still fails after ten days the account becomes read only until the balance is settled. Prices may change with 30 days written notice by email, and any change applies from the next billing period, never to a period already paid.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Every plan is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time from the account screen, with no fee and no notice period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, and the account stays fully usable until then. Because billing is month to month, part months are not refunded, except where a payment was taken in error or where the law requires a refund. If the service is unavailable for more than 24 hours in a single billing period through a fault on our side, tell us and that month is credited.
7. Your data
Everything your bakery puts into TieredOrders, including the price book, the orders, the customer contact details and the calendar, belongs to your business. We process it to run the service, to support you and to keep backups, and for nothing else. You can export order history, the customer list and the calendar as CSV and ICS files at any time while the account is open. After cancellation the data stays available for 30 days, then it is removed from live systems, with backup copies expiring within a further 90 days.
8. Availability and support
We aim for 99.9 percent monthly availability, measured outside announced maintenance. Maintenance is scheduled outside United States business hours wherever possible, and never on a Friday or a Saturday, because those are the days a bakery can least afford a surprise. Support is by email on every plan, answered within one business day, with phone support on the Bakery and Multi Baker plans six days a week.
9. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided as it stands and as it is available. Within the limits allowed by law, MLJ, SASU gives no warranty that the service will run without interruption or error, that it will suit a purpose you have not described to us, or that the pricing rules you configure will produce the margin you intend. You are responsible for reviewing the prices your form generates before publishing it to customers.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of MLJ, SASU for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost orders, lost goodwill, the cost of remaking a cake, or the cost of substitute software. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for willful misconduct, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Indemnity
You agree to hold MLJ, SASU harmless against third party claims arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, from content you publish through an order form, or from a failure to meet a legal duty owed to your own customers, including duties about allergen information and food safety.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the product changes. Any material change is announced by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page is updated. If you do not accept a change you may cancel before it takes effect, and the change will never apply to a period you have already paid for.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be brought before the competent courts of Paris, France. Where you contract as a professional, this choice of jurisdiction applies in full.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms, about an invoice or about a cancellation go to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com. Publisher details, including the registered office and the trade register entry, are on the legal notice page, and data handling is described in the privacy policy.
